 ASHRAE ALI COURSE "A DESIGNER’S INTRODUCTION TO COMMERCIAL DESSICANT SYSTEMS"

The Course - in English - deals with the design of systems of Dehumidification through dessicants for commercial applications and is held by one of the major Ashrae experts in this field. Starting with the basic principles of the dessicant dehumidification, the four hour lessons will guide the attendee through the whole process with an inter-active method that has allowed important learning successes for students.
This ALI Course is open to students of any nationality, Aicarr or Ashrae Members and Non Members; it is fully administered by Ashrae.

SEMINAR "IMPROVEMENT OF BUILDING ENERGY EFFICENCY"
"Energy Efficiecy control in the refurbishment of existing buildings is of primary importance as well as the various actions that may be recommended to achieve the goals imposed by both the ever urgent energy savings and environment protection.
Thorough knowledge of Directives and Rules related to this subject which actually affect new and existing constructions is paramount as a base to afford the different procedures of the case. How retrofitting practices can be applied to individual buildings or envisaged at the entire town level is another subject for study and discussion. What type of system or equipment better suits the target to be achieved  is a consequential subject to elaborate with particular attention to the Heat Pump utilization and the examination of relevant case studies. Four cultural organizations, IIF/IIR, Rehva, Ashrae and Aicarr, all committed to contribute to the solution of such global problems, have been called to present their ideas and experience at this Seminar.
An open debate will follow to the presentation of seven lectures by worldwide recognized experts. Attendance to the seminar is free. The entire program will be held in English.

ASHRAE'S CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME

Presentation of ASHRAE’s certification programme for HVAC Practitioners/Experts, the globally recognized credentials not widely common in Europe yet.
Credential is obtained through an e-learning class followed by an examination at an Italian Univerity site (info: http://www.ashrae.org/certification/). The entire program will be held in English.
