WELCOME TO THE 48°  AICARR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Italy must import more than 85% of its energy needs. Therefore it is pressing to realize as soon as possible a feasible and effective energy plan.
The outcome of the recent referendum on nuclear energy indicates that it is no more possible to follow increasing consumption often due to waste. Energy saving and efficiency improvements in the processes must be pursued so that less energy is needed and it is better used.
Science and technology have developed solutions that allow to enjoy similar performance in terms of welfare due to improved equipment, smart control systems, passive and active waste reduction systems, using much less energy in the most different applications, from heating to cooling but also in lighting and in air change.
In Italy about 20 millions dwellings present poor insulation (when there is) and heating and air conditioning equipment of low quality (with very poor efficiency). Quite the same is true for many commercial and public buildings.
This 48° International AICARR Conference addresses to all the main topics relative to the energy use in the built environment, considering sustainability and innovation on buildings and the respective plants with a particular reference to existing buildings. Due management and service of the system building plant  will be also considered together with the new themes of automation.
