EN: Radiant systems air-conditioning
IT: Climatizzazione con Sistemi radianti
Radiant systems are the latest evolution in the field of air-conditioning. In the past ten years they have been rediscovered and now seem to ben very attractive also to the end-user. Their use in the summer air-conditioning as well as the use of the ceiling and wall systems is quite recent.
The book contains the direct experience of the author during the long-time cooperation with RHOSS (IRSAP Group). The book represent a training path for the designers of any level, that has been provided and tested over the past years on a monthly basis.
The book provides a support in designing a radiant system by taking into careful consideration all those elements having an impact on the performance.
A specific focus is dedicated to the summer operations, when other text are not helpful or may even lead to several bad mistakes. The book analyzes the thermal balance between radiant systems and occupants and between radiant systems and other surfaces, stressing on those elements influencing the thermal comfort; finally the book discusses and analyzes different kind of radiant systems.
