Villa Taranto Gardens

Meeting point with the local guide at the G.Hotel Dino Baveno. Departure by private boat from the pier placed near the G. Hotel Dino gardens for Villa Taranto Gardens. This garden is considered one of the richest in Italy with 20.000 thousand varieties of plants and flowers from every part of the world In September there will be the full bloom of  260  different varieties of Dahlias.

Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori

Meeting point with the local guide at the G.Hotel Dino Baveno. Departure by private boat from the pier placed near the G. Hotel Dino gardens for Isola Bella. Visit the imposing baroque palace and the Italian gardens and their ten artistic terraces with statues, fountains and decorations. Transfer by bots to Isola Pescatori and visit to the ancient village of fishermen.

Isola Madre

Meeting point with the local guide at the G. Hotel Dino Baveno. Departure by private boat from the pier placed near the G. Hotel Dino gardens for Isola Madre. Visit the elegant English garden with the alive presence of white and blue peacocks and gold pheasants and the Renaissance palace that was the first Borromeo dwelling on the lake.

Eremo di Santa Caterina

Departure by private boats from the pier placed near the G. Hotel Dino for the Eremo of Santa Caterina that is considered one of the most charming place of the Lake Maggiore for its unusual location. On the arrival meeting with the local guide and visit the sanctuary.

At the origin in the XIIth century was built a church dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandra, then was added another small church dedicated to the “Madonna” and at the end was built a small monastery for the Dominicans.

In the mid XVth  century all these little buildings were made into a single sanctuary that today very important for its particular architecture and its ancient frescoes.
